I movimenti stanno preparando una protesta europea di massa contro le politiche di austerity

Dichiarazione  dalla Conferenza di Azione europea a Francoforte, 26 Febbraio 2012
I 400 partecipanti della Conferenza d’Azione, che si è tenuta dal 24 al 26 febbraio a Francoforte, hanno deciso di chiamare, dal 17 al 19 maggio, delle giornate di protesta contro la dittatura dell’Unione Europea.
Siamo contro il disastro che è stato imposta alla Grecia ed altri paesi, contro l’impoverimento e la negazione dei diritti di milioni di persone. Siamo contro la concreta abolizione del processo democratico per volere della Troika (BCE, EU, FMI).
Le giornate di protesta a Francoforte saranno subito dopo il 12 Maggio, ossia la giornata di Azione Internazionale e dopo l’anniversario della prima assemblea tenutasi a Madrid il 15 maggio 2010.
Vogliamo quindi mandare un segnale di solidarietà per tutti e tutte coloro che in Europa resistono alla “debtdemocracy”, alla debitocrazia della Troika all’attacco al loro benessere e futuro.
In contemporanea ci saranno proteste nelgi U.S. A contro il G8 a Chicago.
La scelta di Francoforte deriva dal ruolo che ha la città in quanto sede della BCE e di molte banche e corporazioni potenti.
Il 17 maggio verranno occupati i parchi e molte piazze della città per creare spazi di discussione e scambi di opinione.
Il 18 maggio verranno bloccati le operazioni e gli affari bancari e trasformata la nostra rabbia contro le politiche della Troika in azione.
Il 19 maggio ci riuniremo per una grande manifestazione e sarà così visibile la portata della protesta.
Da tanti paesi e da tutto il mondo verremo a Francoforte e parteciperemo alle giornate di protesta.
Il successo della protesta dipende dalla mobilitazione che essa scatenerà. Serve la forza di tutti e tutte: il movimento Occupy!, le iniziative dei disoccupati e le alleanze create dalla crisi, i sindacati, Attac, il Movimento per la pace e per l’ambiente, i migranti, le organizzazioni di giovani e studenti, gli antirazzisti, gli antifascisti e i gruppi di sinistra, gli attivisti impegnati in diverse lotte locali e il partito di sinistra.
Il periodo di mobilitazione include la Giornata di azione Europea del 31 Maggio, la giornata internazionale della Mayday così come le lotte in Germania, che ricevono la nostra solidarietà.

Movements are planning European mass protests against policies of pauperization

Declaration of the European Action Conference in Frankfurt on February 26th, 2012
The 400 participants of the Action Conference from February 24th to 26th in Frankfurt/ Main, Germany, have decided to call for days of protest from May 17th to 19th against the crisis dictatorship of the European Union. We resist the disaster that is applied to Greece and other countries, against the impoverishment and denial of rights of millions of people and the practical abolition of democratic procedures resulting from the decisions of the Troika consisting of ECB, EU and IMF.
The days of protest in Frankfurt directly succeed to the International Action Day on May 12th and the anniversary of the first assembly in Madrid on May 15th. We are therefore sending a visible sign of solidarity to those people in Europe who have been and are resisting against the debtocracy of the Troika and the attacks on their livelihood and their future. Simultaneously, protests are being organised in the US against the G8 Summit in Chicago.
The choice of Frankfurt for the protests results from the role that the city has as headquarters of the European Central Bank (ECB) and of powerful German and international banks and corporations.
On May 17, we will occupy parks and main squares of the city to create spaces for discussion and exchange. On May 18, we will block the running business of banks in Frankfurt and turn our anger about the Troika’s policies into action. We will gather for a large demonstration on May 19 and visualise the broad base of the protests. From many countries and regions of the world people will travel to Frankfurt and participate in the days of protest.
The success of the protests requires a mobilisation that is actively supported by as many as possible: the Occupy movement, the initiatives of unemployed and the crisis alliances, trade unionists, Attac, the environmental and peace movement, migrants’, youth and students’ organisations, anti-racist, anti-fascist and left groups, activists of various local struggles and the Left Party.
The period of mobilisation includes the European action day on March 31st and international Mayday, as well as collective bargaining struggles in Germany that have our solidarity.

Erklärung der Europäischen Aktionskonferenz in Frankfurt vom 26. Februar 2012
Die 400 Teilnehmer_innen der Aktionskonferenz vom 24. – 26. Februar haben beschlossen, vom 17. bis zum 19. Mai zu Tagen des Protestes gegen das Krisenregime der Europäischen Union aufzurufen. Wir wehren uns gegen gegen die Verwüstung Griechenlands und anderer Länder, gegen die Verarmung und Entrechtung von Millionen und die faktische Abschaffung demokratischer Verfahren in der Folge von Beschlüssen der Troika (EZB, EU und IWF).
Die Frankfurter Protesttage schließen damit direkt an den europaweiten Aktionstag des 12. Mai und an den Jahrestag der ersten Asamblea von Madrid an. Wir setzen so ein unübersehbares Zeichen der Solidarität mit den Menschen, die sich seit Monaten schon in Europa gegen das Schuldenregime der Troika und die Angriffe auf ihr Leben und ihre Zukunft wehren. Zeitgleich finden in den USA die Proteste gegen den G8- und NATO-Gipfel in Chicago statt.
Die Wahl Frankfurts ergibt sich aus der Rolle, die die Stadt als Sitz der Europäischen Zentralbank (EZB) und der mächtigen deutschen und internationalen Banken und Konzerne spielt.
Wir werden am 17. Mai die Anlagen und zentrale Plätze der Stadt besetzen, um uns Raum für Diskussion und inhaltlichen Austausch zu schaffen. Wir werden am 18. Mai den Geschäftsbetrieb der Banken in Frankfurt blockieren, um unsere Wut über die Troika-Politik konkret werden lassen. Wir werden uns dann am 19. Mai zu einer großen Demonstration versammeln und die Breite der Proteste sichtbar machen. Aus vielen Ländern und Regionen der Welt werden Menschen nach Frankfurt reisen und sich an den Tagen des Protest beteiligen.
Zum Gelingen der Tage des Protests bedarf es einer Mobilisierung, die von möglichst vielen aktiv getragen wird: der Occupy-Bewegung, Erwerbsloseninitiativen und Krisenbündnissen, Gewerkschafter_innen, attac-Aktivist_innen, der Umwelt- und Friedensbewegung, antirassistischen und migrantischen, antifaschistischen und linken Gruppen, Jugend- und Studierendenorganisationen, Aktivist_innen der verschiedensten lokalen Kämpfe und der Linkspartei.
In die Zeit der Mobilisierung fallen der europaweite Aktionstag zum 31. März, der internationale 1. Mai und Tarifauseinandersetzungen in Deutschland, denen unsere Solidarität gilt.
