“I’m okay but we try to protest the police violence to people who want to protest government policies peacefully.

Our Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan still attacks people who are against him and his ideology.

But all those things are not about Islam and Islamist ideology. Its all about the police attacks to people starting in Istanbul and now it spread to all country.

So many gas bombs have been thrown to people by police. And we just want a democratic country, thats all.

You’re right, it’s just started with a park prostest.

But people in Turkey especially young people have already tried to say something against government’s bad policies in nearly every area; they try to control and limit the alcohol consumption, to open the religious schools against secularism, to spread cheap labour force to privatize everything and to build new shopping malls and new high skyscraper to make some people richer than ever. and they will start to build a third bride between Asia and Europe in Istanbul.

While this new bridge will be constructed they will cut thousands of three

In taksim they also want to build a new shopping mall and other buildings instead of Gezi Park.

As you can see, after police forces attacked few unarmed people in Gezi Park, people started to protest these forcefull violence.

And Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan still continues to say that we are relentless, extremist people and they do not listen what we want to say and continue to build these buildings in Taksim.

He never says sorry to his own people because he keeps saying that protestors are not important for him as they are anti-government.

Last night so many people in Ankara got arrested. police forces waited in front of the universities to collect students who return from protests to the dormitories.

The another importhing thing is that police still continues to use extreme force on people in the streets, and newspapers and tvs in general do not publish and televise the people suffering from tear gas and pressure water

They all say that people have damaged the streets and public properties. they did not mention what police did or what all those people defend.

They defend democracy and so many young, old, Kurd, Turk, communist, nationalist, apolitic, gay, lesbian,… people get together and try to defend their democratic rights against government authority.

That’s why we need more support from all over the world because we have to stand still.

Thank you again.

Keep in touch.

And also it is important to emphasize that police throw tear gas bombs into people’s house just because they shout and knock on pots and pans to make some noise to protest.”

Grazie, restiamo in contatto.
