[Nel pomeriggio di lunedì 25 marzo] è stato portato a termine un violento raid aereo da parte delle forze militari israeliane sulla Striscia di Gaza, in seguito alla decisione del Governo e del commando militare israeliani in risposta al precedente attacco missilistico lanciato da Gaza nei pressi di Tel Aviv, Israele centrale.

I media israeliani hanno riportato il ferimento di sette civili e importanti danni a diversi edifici nell’area di Hasharon, a nord della capitale israeliana.

Secondo la radio locale, l’attacco aereo sulla Striscia avrebbe avuto come obiettivo principale gli edifici dell’apparato di sicurezza di Hamas a Gaza City.

In un comunicato stampa, un rappresentante dell’esercito israeliano ha dichiarato che lo stabile preso di mira, sito nel centro di Gaza City, sarebbe stato sede di diversi corpi dell’intelligence del partito palestinese.

Vari testimoni oculari residenti in città hanno invece dichiarato che gli aerei da guerra israeliani hanno completamente distrutto un edificio che ospitava una compagnia di assicurazioni.

Durante i raid aerei israeliani sull’enclave costiera, il quartier generale del capo del politburo di Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, è stato completamente distrutto insieme con altri due quartieri di sicurezza.

L’agenzia di stampa “Al-Quds” ha riferito che il quartier generale del ministero della sicurezza interna di Hamas nel quartiere di Remal, nella parte occidentale di Gaza City, è stato distrutto da sette missili lanciati da droni e due enormi razzi sparati dagli aerei israeliani.

La stazione ha anche riferito che aerei da guerra israeliani hanno distrutto una casa nella parte orientale della città.

Intensive Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City

Intensive Israeli army airstrikes were carried out on the Gaza Strip according to the decision of the Israeli cabinet and the Israeli army leadership in response to an earlier rocket attack that was launched from Gaza and hit Tel Aviv, central Israel.

The Israeli media reported that seven Israelis were injured and severe destruction was caused to several buildings in the area of Hasharon northern Tel Aviv.

The airstrikes on the Gaza Strip targeted buildings belong to the security apparatuses of Hamas movement in Gaza City, local radio stations reported.

In a press statement, an Israeli army spokesman stated that the targeted building is in central Gaza City and it is used for several Hamas security intelligence.

Eyewitnesses in the city said that the Israeli warplanes completely destroyed a building that includes an insurance company in central Gaza City.

During the Israeli airstrikes on the coastal enclave, the headquarters of Hamas politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh was totally destroyed along with two other security headquarters.

Al-Quds news station reported that the main headquarters of Hamas Ministry of interior security in Remal neighborhood in western Gaza City was destroyed by seven drones’ missiles and two huge missiles fired from Israeli warplanes.

The station also reported that Israeli warplanes destroyed a house in eastern Gaza City.

Security officials in Gaza said that Israeli warplanes and drones carried out more than 15 airstrikes on different posts, compounds, and buildings that belong to Hamas and other military groups in the Gaza Strip.

Health Ministry in Gaza earlier declared a status of emergency at all the hospitals all over the strip.

The spokesperson of Palestinian Health Ministry said that seven Palestinians were injured during the Israeli airstrikes across the coastal enclave.

The injured Palestinians were transferred to a nearby hospital to receive medical treatment. Their injuries were described as minor.

Universities and schools in the Gaza Strip were suspended on Tuesday as a result of the Israeli airstrikes.

Meanwhile, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas condemned the escalation of the insensitive Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, according to an official statement published by the official Palestinian news agency (WAFA).

An Egyptian-brokered ceasefire was arranged on late Monday but Israeli airstrikes continued over the Gaza Strip, according to Israeli and Palestinian news sources.
