Pubblichiamo un report degli ultimi aggiornamenti sulla situazione del campo profughi di Yarmouk tratto da Palestinians in syrian situation (traduzione a cura di Milano in Movimento):

La morte nel campo di Yarmouk

Con un costante deterioramento della situazione umanitaria i rifugiati palestinesi del campo di Yarmouk in Siria stanno soffendo tremendamente di fronte alle atrocità portate avanti dall’Isis e dai suoi sostenitori.
Durissimi combattimenti hanno avuto luogo Venerdì prima di notta fonda tra le brigate Aknaf Bait Al-Maqdes (che difendono i rifugiati del campo) e Isis e il Fronte Al-Nusra.

Terrore contro i residenti
In accordo con il Gruppo d’Azione per i rifugiati palestinesi in Siria, i combattenti dell’Isis sono dispiegati sui tetti delle case vicino a piazza Abu Hashis e gli scontri sono localizzati per lo più nei pressi di Loubea street.
I combattenti dell’Isis stanno terrorizzando i residenti rapendo decine di giovani ragazzi e due giovani ragazze che abitavano in Al-Madaris Street. Gli attivisti confermano che i combattenti dell’Isis hanno decapitato due oppositori della Palestinian Liberation Army le cui teste tagliate sono state ritrovate.
I combattenti dell’Isis hanno impedito ai residenti di raggiungere i rifornimenti d’acqua. I civili sono rimasti nelle proprie case sotto il tiro dei cecchini ed è stato imposto il coprifuoco.
Pesanti bombardamenti aerei hanno causato grossi danni. Gli scontri tra l’Isis e Aknaf sono ancora in corso vicino a Loubea Street.
I combattenti dell’Isis hanno fatto irruzione nella sede di un’organizzazione di volontariato del campo e rapito alcuni attivisti.

La crisi umanitaria
Tutti i centri medici del campo hanno sospeso il loro lavoro dopo che l’Isis ha preso il controllo della maggior parte di essi.
Il Gruppo d’Azione sostiene che il rifugiato Radwan Al-Ahmad è morto dopo le ferite subite Giovedì. Abdullah Hassan Abdullah e Majed Al-Omari sono morti negli scontri facendo aumentare ad almeno sette il numero di vittime da quando i combattenti dell’Isis sono entrati nel campo.
I combattenti dell’Isis hanno preso il controllo di Safad Street, dell’ospedale Al-Basel e della moschea Abd Al-Qadir Al-Husayni e hanno chiamato dagli altoparlanti i combattenti palestinesi di Aknaf Bait Al-Maqdes dandogli un’ora di tempo per arrendersi.
L’Isis ha sparso la paura e il terrore tra la gente del campo obbligandola ad abbandonarlo andando verso la zona Sud di Yarmouk e verso le zone limitrofe come Babbila, Beith Sahem e Yalda.
Abu Hammam, uno dei leader di Aknaf Bait Al-Maqdes, ha confermato in una registrazione audio l’impegno dei combattenti palestinesi nel combattere e nell’espellere Isis dal campo.
Gli abitanti del campo hanno lanciato un appello per un intervento urgente della Croce Rossa per evacuare i feriti soprattutto perché i centri medici hanno sospeso i servizi.
L’Isis ha preso il controllo di circa il 90% del campo, ma ad ora, gli appelli sono caduti nel vuoto,
Il Gruppo d’Azione conferma la crisi umanitaria nel campo poiché decine di feriti nei combattimenti e negli attacchi rimangono senza cure mediche. Inoltre viene richiesto a tutte le organizzazioni internazionali, ma soprattuto alla Croce Rossa di intervenire per assicurare trattamento medicoai feriti e per salvare la vita a più di 3.500 bambini che stanno affrontando una morte imminente dovuta alla mancanza di cibo e acqua.
Il Gruppo d’Azione chiede anche a tutte le organizzazioni siriane e palestinesi di assumersi le proprie responsabilità e porre fine al deterioramento delle condizioni umanitarie nel campo.

Yarmouk Camp: Imminent death (report)

With a deteriorating human situation, the Palestinian refugees in the Yarmouk Camp in Syria are suffering tremendously in the face of the continuous atrocities practiced by the ISIS and its supporters.

Fierce clashes took place Friday until late night between Aknaf Bait Al-Maqdes Brigades, who have been defending the refugees of the camp, and ISIS and al-Nusra Front.

Terrorizing Residents
According to the Action Group for Palestinian Refugees in Syria, ISIS fighters deployed on the roofs of the houses near Abu Hashish square and clashes mostly centered in the vicinity of Loubea street.

ISIS fighters terrorized the residents, kidnapping tens of young men, and two young women who were taken from their house in Al-Madaris Street. Activists confirmed that ISIS fighters had beheaded two dissidents from the Palestinian Liberation Army and their headless bodies were found.

ISIS fighters prevented the residents from reaching the water supply. The people remained in their houses as snipers were spread and curfew was imposed.

Aggressive airstrikes hit the Camp causing massive damages. Clashes are still going on between ISIS and Aknaf Bait Al-Maqdes fighters near Loubea street.

ISIS fighters broke into a relief organization in the Camp and kidnapped a number of relief activists.

A humanitarian crisis
All medical centers in the Camp have suspended their work as ISIS fighters took control over most of them.

The Action Group reported that the refugee Radwan Al-Ahmad has died from wounds he sustained on Thursday. Abdullah Hassan Abdullah and Majed Al-Omari died in the clashes, increasing the number of the reported victims since ISIS fighters first entered the Camp to at least seven deaths.

ISIS fighters have taken control over Safad Street, Al-Basel Hospital, and Abd Al-Qadir Al-Husayni Mosque and called on Aknaf Bait Al-Maqdes fighters through loudspeakers, giving them one hour to surrender.

ISIS fighters spread fear and terror among the people of the Camp forcing them to leave to southern Yarmouk and the neighboring areas, including Babbila, Beit Sahem, and Yalda.

Abu Hammam, a leader in Aknaf Bait Al-Maqdes, confirmed in an audio recording the perseverance of Bait Al-Maqdes fighters in the Yarmouk Camp and promised to expel ISIS fighters from the Camp.

The people of the Camp have launched a cry for help for an urgent intervention of the Red Cross to evacuate the wounded, especially as all clinics have stopped providing services.

ISIS fighters are now taking control of about 90% of the Camp; people’s appeals have fallen on deaf ears.

The Action Group for Palestinian Refugees in Syria confirmed the humanitarian crisis in the Camp, as dozens of wounded in the clashes and attacks remain without medical help. The Group called on all international organizations, mainly the Red Cross, to interfere to provide medical treatment for the wounded and to save the lives of more than 3,500 children who are facing an imminent death without water or food.

The Action Group also called on all the Palestinian and Syrian organizations to comply with their responsibilities and to put an end to the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in the Camp.
